I don't get it. If he were a professional athlete within the Olympics running track or something similar, maybe then would it be justifiable to pay a higher price for sneakers, but $250?!?

i paid $190 for my adipowers. honestly how do you justify spending money on anything? computers, cars, clothes, jewelry, electronics, how much of what you buy is essential to your survival? people buy shit because they want it.

the better question is why the shit he paid $240 for a shoe that costs $175. he got ripped off.

Weightlifting shoes are expensive. True Olympic lifting shoes can't be worn for walking around the neighborhood. They are just made for lifting. They will last forever. Those crossfit shoes look like a hybrid type shoe more suited for general gym work than just Olympic lifting.

On a different topic have you seen the price of running shoes? They are all made in China by slave labor getting paid pennies and are then marked up to incredible prices by all the running shoe manufactures. All the good running shoes now are over $100 bucks. They last about  4 months of hard running. If I'm going to get ripped off on the price of running shoes I might as well buy made in the US running shoes by New Balance. At least American workers are getting the $150 I pay for my shoes.

Most I've payed for trainers are £80 (which is around $150).
The trainers I use for them gym are cheap £25 Lonsdale ones that I got from Sports Direct.
