What about your posture? I don't think this would be good for it.

I have two pillows under my neck/back, feels perfectly comfortable. I'm talking about radiation/electro magnetic fields?

Oh okay then. I have no idea if it's safe or not.

Sigh...there is no hazardous radiation from electronic devices.  Wait I will amend this: Other than thermal trauma, there is no hazardous radiation from electronic devices.  In other words, a microwave oven if it is impaired can burn your ass. The two most sensitive parts of your body to thermal trauma from radio wave are your eyes and your "jewelry".  When radio frequency techs work they take care to not get burned.  There is no danger of mutations.

I thought it was proven that cell phones held up to the head can cause cancer?

Forgive my ignorance, but you're saying the wifi antenna isn't dangerous?

Thanks by the way!!

No it doesn’t.

That's right it isn’t.

I know another poster here who works for AT&T and he was called to an upscale home whose owner was told by his, “Healthcare Provider” that the WIFI from his Uverse modem was “keeping him awake at night”.  So he connected all his devices with cat 5 cabling.  After he went to his laptop and saw that the only WIFI signals were coming from other homes in the neighborhood.  The tech didn’t ask why his neighbor’s WIFI wouldn’t  “keep him awake.”  (He knew better).

The whole electromagnetic radiation scare came about from what happened to a guy who worked at the top of the Empire State Building.  All the broadcasters who transmit from the Empire State Building collectively hired a staff of techs to look after every thing. (the “Tower Association”).  One of them after working there 20 years came down with multiple sclerosis.  It is considered probable that this poor guy would have come down with MS regardless of where he worked.  His story came out and some took it as evidence that radio waves are bad.  If the field strength is high enough parts of your body can be burned, yes radio waves can hurt you.  But with the field strengths encountered from cell phones and WIFI are insignificant.

Consider this: AM radio has been commercially transmitted for 91 years.  FM for 72 years.  TV for 72 years.

Thank you sir, that clears it up! I appreciate the thought and effort that went into explaining!

That's funny about investing in so much cat 5....  ;D

If you know how to terminate cat 5 into Ethernet cabling yourself, it's not that much.

I don't even know what the term terminate means in that context.  ;D

Still a few bucks and effort I imagine.  :o

Attaching the "plugs" and "Jacks" to the raw cabling. The "terminals"

W.O.W. ...World Of Weiners?
This guy stuffs his weiner's slit with peanutbutter, wraps it in bacon, then grills it.

Yum.
