I'm gonna take the other point of view here - I think he'll be fine.
It looks like the same dude. when you add a lot of body fat to a frame that is MEANT to be skinny, it doesn't look right. I had a buddy in high school, dude was just built to be skinny. He ballooned up to 300 pounds, and looks HORRIBLE - fat hanging off his cheekbones, just weird. Other 300 pounders, well, they just look like they're built to handle it. This dude isn't built to be 245 pounds. Doesn't sit well.
Once he cuts down to 210 pounds, he will have 25 pounds of new muscle from when he started, and he will look solid. I hope he stops soon - he's gotten a little bigger than he should have, and it's time to diet down. Once he diets down... he WILL look better than when he started. He's fat now, but he'll lean up quickly, since he gained the weight fast, and has a good metabolism. He probably has to eat a TON to get that big. He will be fine, he will look bigger and better, I think so, yes.
I went from 125 pounds to 220 pounds in 2 and 1/2 years. It was bad, I looked and felt like complete shit, but when I dieted down to 175, I looked decent. Better than 125 pounds, that's for sure. I had to look like dog shit in the middle, but I never could have reached 175 decent, without going over 175. I think this dude will do the same. But he's about as big as he should get. Lean down now.
