Homos can't donate blood here, and rightfully so. The way it works is say you take 0.5 litres blood from each donor, it goes into a batch of 1000 litres. If ANY of the blood is infected (ie 1/200) it is all disposed of. Homos have far higher rate therefore risk ruining 199 donations.
