Wil NBA fix the draft lottery for the Lakers?
« on: May 20, 2014, 08:34:26 AM »
The Lakers have a 6-7% chance while some other teams are at 20% and higher.  Do you think the NBA will fix the odds to give LA the top pick?  Even if LA legitly won the lottery won't everyone claim it was fixed anyways?

Can you say Lebron going to cleveland or Ewing to the Knicks?

Yeah, if the lakers get the #1 or #2 pick and keep Gasol, they have a decent chance of signing a Lebron this offseason.  Even though kobe is a pain in the ass, he's still a huge storyline and lebron loves to be in the center of the league-wide drama story.

They tend to fix it most years for the best 'storyline'.  Would be shocked to see Jazz and Philly with top picks lol.

I think there is a good chance they get a top pick. Also i predict they will sign either Lebron or Kevin Love.

LMAO!!!!  Lebron will not be going LA . Kobe is the alpha male and could NEVER play with Lebron. Kevin Love, maybe. Id actually build a team around Love. IMO, he fits in best with Chicago OR Houston.

I had to put up with "Boss" for the last two years.  Now, everyone is an "Alpha".  Godzilla was an "Alpha" predator.  Those monkeys over at Shredz sell "Alpha Stacks".  I'm just curious when this new trend will end and what's next?

Wade is up for a BIG max long-term payday this off-season.  Lebron and Bosh can both opt out this year.  They'll have to take LESS $ than Wade to stay.  Will they do that?  I dunno.   Will Bosh bolt with his 2 rings for a massive paycheck to be on another team?

If things in miami were the same, yes, lebron would be crazy to leave.  But if Bosh leaves, and their bench remains this weak, and Wade is making $5 mil more than him to be injured 1/3 the season... and every team in the league rolls out the red carpet for him... and if they lose in the playoffs this year...

I could see LeBron leaving.   I'd see that much more likely than him playing with a better-paid Wade and no bosh, losing every year to IND or Chicago with Love or Carmelo.

wade does not deserve a max payday.
His a mistake about to happen.
But I guess it's possible.
I say bosh goes, his pretty much the 3rd wheel.

Riley wants championships and will cut ties if that means bringing in more players to help them win.  He won't keep Wade if that means blowing this team up

I think riley will reward wade for being loyal.

Wade in no way deserves a max contract at this stage in his career.

I'm sure at least one team will offer one though.

Ofcourse not, he is on his last legs, he cannot play back to back games anymore in his career.

Bosh is weak but when he's on he is a big help.  Bosh had some big games in the finals last year that helped the Heat win.  he is throwing up a lot of threes this year which is new to his game, he's had some timely shots but also has shanked a lot.
Wade's strength was his speed and agility.  he had a second gear that was similar to Derrick Rose but with the bad knees that gear is gone.  Bosh loves Miami and is not leaving unless told to.  ESPN was talking about James going back to Cleveland.  No way that happens, especially after what a dick the owner was to him.  the owner sealed that casket shut.

I'll tell you this.  One play the Lakers will get is Kyrie Irving.  They'll have Irving, Wiggins with the rigged first pick, Kobe who I don't think can play anymore and possibly Bosh if the Heat don't keep him.

kobe has done nothing in the last 4 years. He wont do anything in his last 2.

he will be hell bent in trying to beat jordans total points and match jordans 6th ring.
he will get injured, his knee or back will go out again.
