Only one?
You only asked for one, ya greedy bastard!
I think that you think that Bill Cosby is an oreo because his material isn't about race, like so many other black comedians, and you think I picked him to be a wise ass. Maybe not, wtf do I know. I mentioned him because he's the most talented comedian I've ever seen. I think Carlin's later material was better because it had way more straight balls than Cosby's. Martin, Kaufman, maybe Gottfried were bolder and pushed the envelope without getting political. Moderns like CK and Burr are very watchable but formulaic, and lack Cosby's charm. Connoly is the nearest parallel I can draw for someone who lends a conversational tone to performance but Cosby is in a league of his own when it comes to holding the room in his hands.
I don't particularly admire anyone from the rights movement. I'll stop short of trashing a recently dead woman, especially since I don't know anything about her life's work, but I think a lot of them were simply self serving. I admire the courage of a lot of unnamed people who fought a fucked up system, but the rhetoric of the movement ought to have changed with the movement's progress. It didn't, and still hasn't, which makes it antiquated and divisive in 2014. My understanding is that the whole point was to end segregation. You've read Malcolm's book. What conclusion did he come to?
So lose the chip. It's as silly on you as on the chippy white guys that you come here to battle. When's the last time you had a laugh here? You gotta find a way to let dickheads be dickheads when there are no consequences, like here. Your ego doesn't always have to be avenged. Try it, it's liberating.
Forgive the rant but what, finally, is the point if you're not having any fun?
