The twink in blue scrubs is Kyle Reese

Pretty cool that they have him wearing the same clothes he did in the original Terminator

Still the best movie poster of all time

Looks like they slapped on 3" platform shoes to give him the appearance than he's still over 6'0".

for those that don't know this movie s taking a back to the future  and star trek route and creating an alternate timeline. Classic scenes from the 1984 movie are being revisited and some have already been shot. Arnold as he is now will interact with the terminator from 1984.  I know the punk scene from t1 has already been filmed with arnolds older unit entering the mix
This is no simple rehash of t2 like t3 was and has a chance to be a worthy addition.

I REALLY want this to be good, but really, what is the chance of it being so?

As was said, unless Cameron gets on board, the film will almost certainly suck ass.

Funny you should say that, they made him taller even in the original.

Hes playing a unit that's been active a very long time. It looks like as usual he will have been caught and reprogrammed far in the future and sent back to the 50's to protect sarah as a child. Arnold watches over her from youth, we will then see events from 84, i think 91 was mentioned, another date, ending in 2017.

What a ridiculous premise. So how again does a T-800 cyborg age?

Isn't the skin supposed to be real tissue? Wouldn't it age? Plenty of scenarios for that - not much of a stretch in the realm of science fiction.

I feel like a fuckin geek for mentioning this......but I remember the Terminator being quoted as saying that his power fuel cells enable him to last 120 years. If that's the case, how would his skin age? How could you have a 100 year old Terminator running around looking like it has one foot in the grave but still be strong enough to rip a man's heart out of a man's chest?

The movie will tank

Kinda along the lines of "Back To The Future II"?

I still think they should have made Arnold the scientist that invented and programmed this version of the Terminator so that he made it look like himself when younger.  Hollyweird never listens.

what machine doesn't age, rust, get slower and break down? What thing living doesn't age? The terminator has living flesh!
I don't know why people can't grasp this, who ever said a terminator wouldn't age? Arnolds model is as human as possible, remember "sweat, bad breath, everything"
his unit could actually be about 80 in this movie and he looks in his 50's so it ages but slower than a human.

And if Cameron were directing but Arnold sat out, many would say "Without Arnold it doesn't work."  I have  hopes for the film but they're not all that high.
