Same here. Brazil will crumble.

I'm biased as I support Brazil, but you have to understand that ALL South American countries except Argentina and Uruguay have an inferiority complex against Brazil. They don't believe they can win. Add to that Brazil are at home and Columbia have never gone further than this whereas Brazil do so on a perennial basis... Trying to reassure myself, I'm working for QF made sure to take time off for SF and final  ;D

Would love to see Colombia win the whole tournament.

if Falcao was playing, Colombia winning the World Cup would be a done deal already.

Nope. Not a chance. Rodriguez has performed better than Falcao ever could have. Suarez, Messi and Neymar are the three players who, without them, their teams would collapse.

I fear for Liverpool next year, watching Suarez week in week out, you just got used to someone scoring EVERY game (31 goals in 32 matches... crazy). Gonna miss him.

If you're talking about injury time etc the ref stops his watch independent of what is shown on TV screens for stoppages such as injuries or unnecessary delays. It is a stupid system, that used in rugby is preferable.

FIFA is based in Switzerland, a country that knows fuck all about stopwatches... or any type of watch.

it's laughable that nobody (players, coaches, fans) knows exactly when half time or full time will be up (but they just have to wait for the ref's mysterious whistle.)

plus, the 3-4 mins. of extra time that the ref adds at the end of each half, in no way comes close to making up for all of the wasted time while the clock continuously ticked away during all the strategically slow delays to the flow of the game (only one of which is the divers rolling around on the ground faking injuries with annoying regularity.)

I've really enjoyed this world cup. Too bad about Chile losing against Brazil, although Brazil was better anyway. My fellow Latinos from Colombia and Costa Rica are pwning the shit out of former champions.

Faking injuries, delaying kickouts/frees etc is counted. Throw ins, corners are not counted. You need the odd break, these guys run 11km per match, much of that is sprints.

No.....if anything has been evident in this World Cup it is that all these so called "superstars" are physically many, many levels below the elite athletes in the NFL.

Bullshit. NFL players are juiced up and run half a mile/game with 3 hours of a break in between. Footballers run 11km (8 miles) per game sprinting without gear or breaks.

Besides, sports are incomparable. Rugby is closer to NFL. Football is basketball over 100m (365ft) not 90ft and allows for white intelligence rather than 78ft tall blacks alone.

I don't get all the fan boy love Brazil gets every World Cup.  Unless you're a native Brazilian its like rooting for the Yankees or Lakers.  The Brazilians usually win it...Christ they have 5 titles!
It's one thing to be captivated by their footballing history but they've long since past the days of Zico and Pele.  Hell, they're not even Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos anymore!  They haven't played "the beautiful game" since the '82 World Cup.
At one time South American football was only seen every four years and was exotic.  Now, all their big players play in Europe and South American football is seen for what its truly is...cheating bullshit mamma's boys crossing themselves 100 times and thanking god after every dive.
This Brazilian team has Neymar and Oscar.  The rest are shit...or hacks like Luis and Alves.
Pele
Zico
Romario
Ronaldo
Fred????  ::)

Do Brazilian fanboys follow their professional season...of course they don't...nobody does.  If you're gonna be a fanboy follow Belgium, Columbia, or France.  Both countries are playing exciting total football and have crazy talent.

Yes & yes, just like that Jap referee against Croatia.
Not too long ago South Korean shit team was almost finalist (4th place in 2002) thanks to FIFA assistance.
