Yes this seems to happen often.  One team scores early then packs it in and the rest of the game is as exciting as watching paint dry.

Though France nearly tied it up in the last minute.

The world could not have tolerated 30 more minutes of that shit. The announcers should be bitch slapped for trying to pass that off as a well played close game.

The French team played like shit and never took one chance until 88 minutes in.....fuck that shit.

I missed it but listening to radio and checking web updates it was bollox, Germany suffocated France.

There was more action in the first 10 minutes of Brazil vs Colombia than the entire 90+ minutes of that other boring piece of shit.

Brazil should have had 2 goals before 30 mins. More even game now. I have butterflies in stomach, hate how involved I get when my team plays.

Non stop action! Not a dull moment. I can't wait for the final score. The anticipation has sky rocketed.

It is in warm conditions too! Think they were pumped up on adrenaline for first 30 mins, bit calmer now. I am honestly anxious, have that feeling in stomach, Brazil need a 2nd goal, Rodriguez can score from nowhere.

Fred, as usual, is terrible.

I haven't seen this much action since Kai Greene went to the Farmer's Market

So far everyone saying Colombia haha ;D

First Brasil has home field

Second Brasil has presence against them than any other south/central America team, all those other teams are just flat out scared playing them.

Go Brasil!!!

Germany vs Brasil! 8)

I said Brazil ages ago, but coming from a biased perspective. It is only half time though.

I also explained about inferiority complex a page or so ago. Only Argentina and Uruguay do not fear Brazil in South America. I would even say Brazil fear Uruguay after 1950, that still scars people there.

They came so close to a second goal a couple times. It's gonna get crazy in the second half. I can't wait.

Brazil had an unfair advantage from the get go since Colombia couldn't wear their yellow shirts.

Trivia: Brazil switched to yellow jersey in 1954 WC, won first WC in 58 in their away strip as Sweden were home team and 1970 WC (where they won in yellow) was first world cup televised in colour.
