Cap 2 and recent X-men were pretty good.  Thor 2 was better than the first one.

I have to be honest... If you like DC more then Marvel... Comics, movies, characters, marketing, anything ... You were more then likely dropped a child because DC SUCKS in general. The first 2 Nolan movies were good because they went away from super villains to regular criminals. They could have been criminal dramas without Batman and would still have worked. MOS was ok. Everything else DC has made is total shit.

Marvel sticks to super natural stuff... It works. Granted DareDevil sucked ass though... And Elektra. Otherwise all the newer stuff has been exactly what it should be... Fantasy.

How many movies can you make with Lex Luther as the bad guy? Seriously?

DC villains are wayyyyy better than Marvel Villains.  Just cooler and more vicious.

This is 100% correct, i read more DC as a kid though. Fucking throw a real Super Villain into Superman.

wOLF, Good to hear that you liked that Silver Surfer flick. I played a very miniscule part in the production of that movie.

It was so small that my efforts were most likely used in the production of the video game.

Either way, it was a great day seeing how those flying scenes were done and meeting the great crew who made it look great on the movie screen.

I am also looking forward to Guardians.

Can't blame Marvel for Daredevil (or Elektra). They had no say in the making of these films. They've just reacquired the rights to DD though and i think there's a good movie in that character.

The only 2 film adaptations outside of an Avengers movie i would be interested in are:

  • Old Man Logan
  • The Korvac Saga

Whether its for copyright reasons or the ability to bring it to life on screen, both movies are almost impossible to make.
