Really? Who exactly enforced the embargo on Iraq, planting the seeds of what is happening today? Who invaded Iraq but thought at first it was a good idea to back off only to change their mind ten years after? Who funded and pushed Saddam to attack Iran (how stupid was that, what an alpha- guy was always an idiot)? The lack of understanding of the situation is pretty impressive. Iraq has been US business for more then 30 years. It didn't start with Bush Jr.

Funny thing is now the US has to get an alliance with Iran to stop the sunnis (a lot of these groups are not even Iraqi to start with but come from other countries). Kurds might help as they are moderate sunnis and have nothing in common with the Islamic State. Thanks to Saddam for weakening the Kurds for so long that they are still hesitant to give a helping hand. This will be interesting. I bet the Iranian nuclear file will take a very different direction if they have to go in.
