I still remember his shitty VHS training video where he vomited the same line over and over "It's not the quantity of the weight, it's the quality of the movement".

I liked Cotrell back then.  Good BBer, but compared to the better/bigger guys, he simply faded into the back round and was overlooked.

Haney was big on "Stimulate, don't annihilate," and Ronnie seemed to enjoy a "peanut" or two. Dorian never said a word.

I was at that show. John Balik, whom I knew pretty well at the time, got me 5th row seats. Good lineup, but a lot of the guys weren't in the best shape, as can be seen in the video. JJ Marsh won. Never cared for his physique really.
