So I was at dinner this fine evening. And I saw a group of kids in their late teens maybe early 20's... all sporting fedora hats with gangster looking suits on.... pinstripes etc.

The girl I was with said that the fedora hat is a new thing... she didnt have any other info than its just a thing nerds are doing now.

I have been wearing fedoras for years from time to time when I go out with the wife on special occasions but always with a nice suit. I get compliments all the time.  They will always be classy when worn properly.

Alas, 99% of them don't have the fashion sense, nor the heterosexuality to pull it off. They wind up looking like they were playing dress up in grandpa's closet.

Yes, I saw a few of these fellas out a few weeks ago. Hats like Boy George would wear. Or, that dude from the gang in Corcodile Dundee part two. Must be an 80's retro thing with the hipsters.

Fedoras though, if you can pull them off, look cool. I can't, but more power to you if you can. Also, only one fedora per crew.
