go to "BBSZENE" or "http://body.builder.hu for loading video of romanian grand prix with Sergei Shelestov. He is fantastic, and will be a serious challenger for the futures contests...

We should pay more attention to esatern and north europeans bbers, because they are in great form. Superior genetics and a more exposure to new training and juicing methods, can alter the course o bbing in the next years.

Yes. But squat like Coleman (like bodybuilder) - 430 kg (946 pounds) ;)

pic says he went 340-230-310 for an 880kg total. so the squat would be 340kg = 770lb. still strong as hell and to good depth.

i think it's funny, though, these guys always look incredible on the russian stage (despite the shitty tan), but they never make the transition across the lake very well. federov being the most recent and extreme example.

I agree, rccs, Euro genetics rock the BB planet.  Problem #1: American companies
prefer to work with American champions.  Problem #2: If the IFBB allowed Sergei to win an O., he wouldn't have to compete again.  And the IFBB would lose a box-office draw.  Putting him in the top 10 will keep him--and fans like US--coming
back.  Business dictates destiny.

Sounds good, but he didn't even place in this years Olympia, how do you explain that.  He didn't look to bad in a lineup where the majority of the lineup was off.

I think the guy is the most under rated guy in the IFBB. I saw him compete at the Iron Man last year, his placing didnt justify how good the guy looked.
