A facial I did the other day looked a bit odd, so I decided to do a lone run yesterday in the bathroom (Katja Kassin was my visual target) and lo and behold I have blood in my jizz...booked an appointment at the Docs  :-\

Anyone had similar? shall I call my life insurance beneficiary and tell her to start planning exotic holidays and shopping trips?

You have the aids now you can be my hookup for gh.

Had that. Prostate stones. Two kinds...hard and painful and soft like tiny pieces of cellophane that wraps a cigarette package. Had the latter.

You're young.

Probably benign (hopefully unlikely) or bacterial (more likely) prostatitis.

If affects a surpringly large number of young males and is extremely common.

Bacterial prostatitis typically requires anti-bacterial treatment, though the prostate is often resistant and is notoriously difficult to treat with antibiotics. This can lead to relapses upon completion of antibiotic courses. There are several sites devoted to men who work hard to treat this problem. Beware; a lot of it involves prostate massage to improve blood flow to ensure anti-biotics reach the targeted tissue, so get comfortable with yourself! LOL!

Non-bacterial prostatitis is simply something you will have to live with. It is poorly diagnosed, often "poo-poo'd" (classic pun) by the medical establisment, and often left untreated. It can lead to significant pain, erectile dysfunction, pain upon ejaculation, and a host of other problems. Since there is no true known cure, and is often diagnosed as psychosomatic, it plagues a number of men for many years. Often, it clears up for months at a time, resurfacing for a month or two, then disappearing again. Doctors aren't certain what triggers it, or the attacks.

I have my own theories (as a guy who was mistakenly diagnosed with the bacterial version and who went on some fuggin harsh antibiotics to treat it...these pills are a real bitch and they will destroy your tendons...trust me). I thought I had prostatitis. But after my anti-biotics, it resurfaced as prostate pain.

PSA's were and are in-line. Manual examination (yes, I'm that old, and I have a family history) proved I'm healthy down there. I think, seriously, it had to do with decca use. It shut down my testosterone; and as most of you amateur chemists know, anabolics that don't "reduce" serve as weak receptor agonists in sex tissues (such as the prostate). By poorly binding to the prostate, the tissue was left to atrophy to a certain extent. Interestingly, my prostate pain was marked by cessation of use of decca, and use of testosterone (which would have strongly activated the prostate androgen receptors). Again, just a theory of mine.

I live with it. It's not as debilitating as it used to be. I never saw blood, like you did, thankfully...or I would have freaked out. But once in a while, I'll get a killer pain down there for about 20 minutes, and I know what it is.

This is probably way too much info for a public forum. But honestly, guys need to talk "prostate" a little more than they do. It's not something to "sit around" on!

Solid post, thanks for taking the time to post.

It really puts my mind at ease for now until I see my Doc.

You need medical help asap. Blood in semen, urine, feces is not normal. Prostatitis can lead to erectile disfunction.

Nah, don't worry about that.  Most likely the doc will only stick a large, metal Q-tip up your pee hole.

It's never testicular cancer. Not related in any way to blood in semen as semen contains in fact very little sperm. I've been through that and saw one of the best specialist in Paris at Hopital Necker. Most likely it's your prostate.

About 10 years ago I was doing BB bent over rows... it was really cold in the gym and my balls were very tight.  While doing the BB rows I felt a slight pop noise in my balls... no pain though.  Next day after I had sex with my girlfriend there was brownish-red blood all over the place.  I got really scared.  I had sex again the next day and it was still brown, but not as dark.  It cleared up in about 10 days.

FYI...

Eating a few cloves of RAW garlic takes care of this quickly.  Smash it up in a piece of heavy duty aluminum foil.  Scrape it off with a spoon, put it in your mouth and chase it down with a glass of water.  Do this once a day until the problem is gone.

Raw pumpkin seeds are also very good for your prostate.
