Yeah TEN was amazing, VS was great, VITALOGY had some good songs and some crap. Everything since then has been sleep inducing. I can't even believe they're the same band that produced ten. Vedder is a blowhard and the music is not inspired or inovative or even pleasing to listen to at all. Vedder kind of destroyed that band. They squandered a great sound.

Pretty much sums up my feeling on PJ.  Ten was one of the best debut albums ever.  Like VH1 good.  Then....well, what he said.

My youth destroyed was Metallica's black album.  Heard Hetfield's chorus on Unforgiven and wanted to cry.  I can't help but like Sandman because of Mariano Rivera,  and like Of Wolf and Man...but the rest...meh.

I've always liked these guys but lately I've been irritated by them.  Everything that Eddie Vedder writes about is so fucking depressing.  It's always been like this but for some reason I'm only now figuring it out.  We get it dude, you didn't have a father.

The other day I made a joke about this issue.  I bitched about their depressing songs and then said that the only thing they haven't done is write a song about a kid whose dog runs away.  Shortly thereafter I realized that the name of one of their albums is fucking "Lost Dogs".
