That's essentially a two man 650lb incline bench.

I prefer da hulk for his showmanship.

You're kidding right?

Why would he be?

I mean a spot is fine. But that guy is rowing the bar with him.

That lift would never pass in any respectable powerlifting organisation. You get help unracking the bar.

Then you lock it out, touch it to your chest, wait for a signal and press. Not have some little guy doing an upright row while you grunt like a fat retard.

Whew, good thing the guy is in a run of the mill Gold's and not a powerlifting meet.   The spotter must've taken 350lbs off the lift!!

Obviously the guy is crazy strong ... BUT AS OTHERS SAY, this is FAR from anything approaching legit.

Only folks who genuinely know strength training know just how much a spot like this guy's getting can aid in a lift. Like, easily more than 100 pounds.

Again, strong dude, but these "da hulk" 'tards need to tone it down.

Lets see what he can really incline without the spotter taking off 100 or so pounds

Fair enough, so it's a 550 incline.  That's incredible pressing.

Looks like I will have to stop the speculating.  The guys name in the video is Leroy Walker and I have competed against him on several occasions.  He is legitimately strong.  Not 650 lb incline strong but strong.  I have seen him fail with 595 and the best I have seen him do under comp conditions is 622.8.  Not a bad guy, but a bit on the arrogant side and his last comp he upset a few people by doing a lot of trash talking, even the person "Sammy" spotting him in the video you see.   So yes he is legit, but obviously the spotter is assisting him.

As I say, guy's strong as all hell, but ... c'mon.

Without a spot of any kind, he'd have a tough time doing 500 for a decent rep.

Shame on Leroy.

He competes and should know those dog shit lifts with the spot don't count and only make him look silly.

Would be much more impressive doing a bit over 500 with no spot.

Spoto and kirill own these clowns, hulk and Fletcher included.

The spotter wasnt even doing his job right using underhand hovering assist...This was a gym lift...You never lift heavy weight without a spotter...

This place is so annoying sometimes...

Crazy strong lift even if the spotter was taking off 50 to 100lbs.

Not one shrug was performed that day.

During my 30 years of training and observing of people in the gym, I'd say at least 25-30% of gym members are mentally ill.

I remember seeing a few of this guy's videos. His ROM was the pretty much the same in them all.

One was him military pressing on a smith machine with a ton of weight. He basically just un-racked it and re-racked it again. The ROM was probably no more than 2-3cm. :D
