Canelo is the new Oscar...pretty-boy Mexican who will be receiving many 'gift-wrapped' decisions from the judges in Vegas in front of crowds so pro Mexico that the fight may as well be in Guadalajara.
In Oscar's defense, his big fights did keep boxing afloat for many years, until Floyd came along and keeps his PPV buys high in this new era of mma fanboys.

As Canelo is only 24, we will likely be seeing this for the next ten years. Not that he isn't a very good fighter, but the blueprint has been laid for the style that can beat him.
