I think that it designed more to duplicate the squat. I would have to use it to see if it really felt good. Kinda reminds me of the Hammer Strength Squat machine.

That is a weird looking leg press. At first I thought it was a Cybex, but as soon as it moved, I knew it was very different.

Apparently it's made by Hoist Fitness.... ???

I was at the Club Industry show in 93' or 94' when Hammer came out with that stupid leg press.  It was so funny because when they were demonstrating it the guy from Hammer fell off.  That has to be one of the dumbest machines ever made

That Hammer piece was great! We called it the "Lifeguard Stand." They had one at Golds Venice. Nobody & I mean nobody used it. Hammer & Gold's offered me the thing for my home gym. I started laughing and they got mad. ;D
