Just go for a fucking walk.

A guy drives to the gym and walks on a treadmill for an hour and goes home again?

Seriously?

Love it and hate it.  Fucked up my lateral gastroc the other day doing prowler runs. I wish I'd had access to them when I was young enough to not carry injuries.

I have seen it time after time in a gym. I guy walks at a normal stride in the gym walking to a treadmill. He then gets on the machine and walks slower than he did to get to the treadmill. WTF?

Unless you are walking close to 4.0 miles per hour on an incline why not just go for a walk?

When I used to cut weight, I liked the hypnotic monotony of the tread mill.  I could really zone out, focus on rhythm etc

Treadmills suck, glad I was never a fatty. I'd rather take a walk outside any-day than walk in place.

There is one out in the garage that hasn't been used in years. We are trying to sell it.

I used to use it to catch up on reading for work/study, no chance of walking into a lamppost. 6kph at a 10.0-15.0 incline.

and you were hanging on to it correct?

what's the point of doing 6kph at a 10-15 incline if your going to use your arms to keep you on the machine.

put it at a 4 degree incline. set it at 4mph. don't hang onto it. you won't be doing any reading I can promise you that.

Or when you are recovering from a torn labrum and bicep and your dr. doesn't want you running outside yet...

Like Lou Ferigno who'd park in the handicap space because he was deaf? My favorite is this image of people heading to the gym up an escalator and no one using the stairs.

Yes, SS hits the nail on its head.

Disgusting, fat, lazy degenerate slobs of peace taking the bus/car or w/e in order to "cardio" at the gym. Give me a break  ::)
I'm quite confounded by the fact that they don't seem to realise that they could perform their cardio to and from the gym.

Would be holding printed A4 articles/cases in one hand with other by my side or else balance it on the ledge and keep hands at side (my side, not hanging on). I did way too much cardio back then, around 2 hours a day, combined with T3 it made my muscles so stringy.
