a sound we make can travel insanely fast not sure of the exact speed im guessing all sound travels the same speed but more strenth in the sound means it will go farther, isnt that amazing its like our voice can teleport to distant location then travel back to our ear

What I find more interesting is that TV produces sound through vibrations and the prevailing theory is that scent is achieved through the detection of the vibration and shape of molecules in our nose. Depends on what you mean by low. Elephants for instance can make sounds at frequencies lower than humans can hear. But other elephants in the area can hear. Sometimes elephants in other compartments, separated by walls of concrete can hear these sounds.
It's been well known that cats and dogs can feel and even possible hear the vibrations of an earthquake before it happens.

A bullet can go as fast as the speed of sound. In 1947 The Bell X-1 became the first plane to go faster than the speed of sound. Now, of course it had more power or strength as you put it, than a bullet.

I was introduced to the speed of sound when I was 6 or 7 and my dad said he saw a blacksmith hammering shit on a faraway hilltop and he would see hammer striking metal and then hear sound 3 seconds later. Later it was counting time between seeing thunder and lightning.

As for sound dissipating, the smaller the wavelength the more difficult it will be to detect over greater distances. Equate wavelength with decibels.

As for smell, I am guessing, I don't know if you need the actual molecules to vibrate or if it could be assimilated. Interseting topic.
