770lbs raw bench claimed but guess what......

no video!!! He happened not to record that days trainign session where he got 770!!!!

i'm guessing he is good for a true raw competition lift of 610-620 judging by that vid.

His bench here was very impressive, but 770 when the camera wasn't rolling?  I think not.

Strong bencher.
A 350kg bench though not likely from that video.

He struggled to lock out the 280kg & needed the
spotter to help lock out the 300kg.
he didn't do it all himself.

Still an impressive amount to bench press.

eric spoto, a guy with a 720 comp bench and i think around 730 in the gym, can triple 675 like it's butter and do 585 for 10. this guy has never gotten 700 off his chest, period.

still very strong.

believe it or not, there are several people in town here that swear they saw me do five plates for reps.   I even argue with them and say are adamant.  I know I could do 4 and a half plates for a few reps, but don't recall doing five. ???

Nope.

Here he is wrapping his elbows with knee wraps and stalls with 635. (Why he went to 675 is a question.)

As another says, Spoto jams up 675 like fairy dust and his meet best (THE mark to beat, raw) is 722.

Truly raw and with a legal pause, I'd also give the guy something in the very low 600s.

P.S. That spotter is JACKED. Must have gotten some test batches of the new Gifted Nutrition gear.

Haha, just like the fella who was I was drinking with a few weeks ago who told me his mate benched 380kg raw in the gym before his very eyes  ::)

I tried to explain to him how absurd it was some country bumpkin in the back bogs of Ireland did this when the raw record was at around 700 for yrs with Mendy and now higher again with Spoto

I have seen one Irish guy bench, natural and raw, 240kg. Dave Fitzhenry, he was a great lifter, used to be outhalf for Leinster, they told him he was too small and should lift weights, then he became a 155kg SHW powerlifter. Funny fucker too, shared room with him and another guy in Moscow at a PL meet.

380kg raw.... just lol. Used to have old fuckers missing veins from forearms from double bypass tell me they could clean and jerk 25 stone (150-160kg) as gym rats. Yeah fucking right. Of course they just called it "lift over my head".
