How do you get more energy from working out?

I often hear about people talking about how much energy they get from going to the gym, how they get more done at work etc etc

But whenever Im done at the gym I just wanna go to sleep  ???

I usually do get good energy but a little nap always seals the deal perfectly. Plus its the best you can do for muscle repair and growth

It tends to work like that when you're cutting, rather than bulking.  If you are a permabulker, most of the time, you're having to down a bunch of carbs after training and that can a total sleeping pill to some.

When you finish your workout you should feel as if you could do a little be more, but don't. It is when you overdo a workout that it ends up making you more tired then energized. Never workout longer then 90 minutes. In fact, 45 minutes is ideal, provided you don't spend it standing around chatting it up with other folks who are also taking too long a break between sets.
