I saw that. She's only like 5 feet tall. Her boyfreind, who trains her, failed pretty quickly in the first round. He looked like he wanted to cry.

I read somewhere that the courses or parts of the course tend to favor the shorter person. Is that true? Because it may partially explain why she finished, other than she was excellent.

figures it's a gymnast.

it's like one of the few sports where women are pushed hard and diciplined

I would say its a bit of both. The last part where she had to go from pole to pole it's way easier for a taller person. A guy before her was over 6 ft and did it super easy. And those red swinging bars where she had to jump earlier are tailored for taller people. Watched her do the trial and get through that. Did not think there was anyway she would complete this one due to those obstacles. Very impressive

Good for her. But that course seems much easier than other's i've seen...That big wooden stump like thing you have to hang on to drops 2 to 3 times with men(from other courses) on it and only dropped once for her? This course is way easier than some of the others i've seen. Those padded ramps at the very beginning of the course are way closer than they are at other places...Not taking anything away from her but this course looks to be a sandbag type course where the fix was in to get some women through...Or is this just a stage 1 type course and their all this easy at this level?
