Had some good friends over tonight and had a paella with lots of wine.

Final tally was 12 bottles of Rioja, including a reserva that was hidden in my wine rack!

Oh well, to quote Ric Elias, "I only collect bad wines". If the wine is good and the friends are here, it's GONE.

Seafood: $130
Saffron: $50
Everything else: $100
Wine (including the riserva): $800  :'(

Still a little over a grand for 15 people isn't bad.

It was odd. He just shows up, starts cooking and muttering in Romanian about how nobody understands "suffering to be shredded".

The local Lizard-Human police force came for him when he was done cooking. It was great good tho.
