Along with running my ecommerce and PT business, I also work a full time job.  I rarely surf the web but spend most of my time uploading CSV files and doing price changes.  I also process credit applications for people who want to get the 6 months no interest financing on their exercise equipment.

You obviously have never applied for a business loan. You need collateral to get a loan for a new business. Bank managers know that 80% of new businesses fail within 5 years and probably earlier.

If you don't own property I doubt you can get a business loan to set up a gym.

In NZ you don't. The business I'm an investor in just took a loan to finance some contracts. While we easily could've financed it ourselves,  only an idiot is works in business with his own money. We had to put up no collateral. Zero.
