worst bp reading?
« on: July 20, 2014, 03:26:48 PM »
Usually around 125 /75 running 1g of test and 675mg of deca. I always take my reading after ive had a serving of caffeine or worked out though so it may be lower than that, majority of any raising is definitely caused by deca bloat for me atleast.

Whats the worst reading you've had aswell as the compound that caused it?

150ish systolic with tren hex and clenbuterol in my system (and cigarettes and caffeine).

120/59 last time i checked. So fortunately I got it under control by cleaning my diet up, doing more cardio, and dropping the fat burners and cigs. I know, i'm a dope, but i'm trying to effect some positive change.

For a while I'd always stick my arm in the BP machine in the grocery store and it always come in around 150/90, I looked at the chart and it said stage 2 hypertension. I blew it off, I thought the machine must be broke few months later went to my annual check up and been on BP medicine ever since. Always ~ 115/80 now. Always check your BP a lot of times there are no symptoms and high blood pressure is hereditary.

Recently it was 157/97 which is obviously too high. Couldn't figure out what was going on. Normally, it is between 110/77 and 127/82. Also my pulse was racing and the machine indicated my heartbeat was irregular. Thought for sure I was going to have a stroke. Turns out I'd accidentally moved the beta blocker I take behind another bottle and probably had not taken it for several days. As soon as I got back on it, my numbers returned to normal. Sorry folks, looks like I'll be around awhile longer just to bug you and keep you on your toes.  ;D

Ah kidney stones are notoriously painful. I don't envy you.

No one would regard a bp reading taken during such a painful medical condition as significant. Definitely follow it up of course, if the diastolic persists, then yes, that is dangerously high.

As a rule of thumb, take a bp reading when you first get up in the morning (and don't have renal calculi).

I went to the doctor the other day first reading was 140/80. I'm always nervous when they put it on. They read it again and it dropped to 132/80. I don't think that's too bad for being on two very wet compounds test and deca.

New Blood Pressure Guidelines Raise the Bar for Taking Medications

Expert panel says treating some earlier with drugs shows little benefit, but other groups express concern

New Blood Pressure Guidelines Raise the Bar for Taking Medications
By  Dennis Thompson
HealthDay Reporter

WEDNESDAY, Dec. 18, 2013 (HealthDay News) -- Fewer people should take medicine to control their high blood pressure, a new set of guidelines recommends.

Adults aged 60 or older should only take blood pressure medication if their blood pressure exceeds 150/90, which sets a higher bar for treatment than the current guideline of 140/90, according to the report, published online Dec. 18 in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
