Shittiest part of the UK
« on: July 24, 2014, 03:49:40 AM »
Opinions and experiences.

I think that South Wales is very economically deprived and poorly funded, Englands arsehole.
There are some rough, ghetto style places in the Northwest in particular any high concentration of Muslims ie Blackburn, Bradford, Nelson, Colne etc.

Preston I hated that place whenever I had to go.

A lot of parts in Manchester are plain and simple full of scum and wouldn't walk past them...Gorton, Clayton...etc. Most parts of Stockport.

Here's the club scene in Preston lol, please forward to 1:40 for the highlight of video:

Glasgow is pretty fucking awful with high levels of unemployment/alcoholics/drug addicts etc.
Tower Hamlets and Peckham are the shittiest parts of London I've been to.

Bounce house lol

Depends where you go in Preston mate.
There are some side street bars that are chilled and relaxed (most of the ones with the black doormen on).

Burnley and Oldham...horrific.

TBH this country is destroyed by classes. The North still reeling from the industrial collapse from many decades ago.

We have the clean cut image of a very civilised nation to the outside, but the reality of it is a large percentage of our population is living hand to mouth and is rather forgotten about by the elite.

Is it any coincidence that these areas have large pakistani populations?

They tend to settle in already shitty poorer areas due to cost of living and also as they have a high reliance on social housing.

Which makes already shitty areas even worse. Tower Hamlets in London is a good example.

Last time I checked with an old northern friend who just moved out of Oldham is that it was overrun with gypsies now too.

Funniest shit ever when our PM's predicted that 60,000 new entrants from eastern Europe would turn up in  2005. 600,000 moved in  ;D

I've been to a lot of shitholes in this country. For me top 3:

1. Peckham - only place i've been to where you feel like you could be stabbed at any moment  ;D
2. Grays, Essex - Most depressing place I have ever been to, some people had 3 eyes
3. Oldham - The high street has about 15 pounlands

Oldham is the only place ive been where the pubs are festooned in barbed wire and have Rottweilers patrolling on the flat roofs.

Merthyr Tydfil, Aberdare, Mountain Ash... tbf anywhere in the Welsh valleys.

I may regret this but....

What the fuck is going on with public toilets in Wales?

Specifically, i'm talking about 'meet up' graffiti and all the holes drilled in the partitions.

It's like they have made a cottage industry out of cottaging.

Too many Romanians are coming in now, nearly every major city is going down the shitter lol. I've got nothing against romanians but it seems like it is only the gypsies and lowlifes who are coming over. Like that Cuban immigration issue that happened in Miami.

Though there are probably normal, hard working romanians coming in but they are not noticed. Most eastern euros are good, hard working people and good additions to UK society but these gypos are fucking things up.

Margate, Ashford (Kent), Bangor (northern Wales), Gillingham, Strood or Gravesend/Dartford area. I nearly found myself spontaneously crying when driving through. It taught me that depression is a real and dangerous thing. Nothing to joke about.

I know the North gets a bad rap but I quite like it up north. People are friendlier and more 'real'.

After watching that video I hope the gun laws ease up a bit there. Someone needs to go in that place with a 200rnd drum of 7.62 and do the world a favor.

Rushden near Northampton was particularly depressing; a high st full of charity shops and everyone smelt of chip fat.
