Need some good movies.

Looking for some good movies to watch.

Not hollywood shit either, something that  has a descent idea behind it. No kids movies, or movies a chick would like.

Lol one of the greatest films ever made, I wanted something like the godfather, I think I might try watch The Leopard, apparently the style of the movie is what Scorsese copied.

Anderson's latest Grand Budapest Hotel was grand.  Strictly for Wes Anderson fans, tho, so don't come cryin to me if you don't like it. 


F. Murray Abraham delivers a fuckng awesome matter-of-fact "I didn't."  SF1900 will catch this allusion the minute it goes down.

I saw Midnight Cowboy yesterday. Great great movie with a lingering soundtrack.

I find that you should either watch classic movies or recommended foreign films to get quality.

Contemporary movies are shit, have to watch 25 to get a good one in there.

Grand Buda is unique and with a classic feel.

I need some tips myself..  Please

Agreed its really easy to feel intelligent when you see some of the films people like.

Seriously most people seem to stop developing their taste in movies by like the age of 15.

I know exactly how that feels yep.

Good movies are between mainstream and obscure. Different but good enough to make it big anyway.

In Hollywood, oftentimes where good actors "break through" are a good stop for a viewing.

Yeah I'm going through IMDB and my god there are some stupid motherfuckers floating around.



Best movie ever lists, with no mention of the Godfather?




Anyways I'm trying hard to find movies about intelligent and ambitious people any ideas?

i'd like recommenced this yt channel. couple of film nerds give commentary over horror film trailer compilations from a particular year. they can be quite funny and scathing at times and even say some rude words

his rants are hilarious when he doesn't like a film. i think he may be mentally ill.. he hated the robocop remake!
