Dude was like a 6'5ft Olympic weightlifter with a BB physique and a badass accent. He could have rivalled Arnie and Stallone as a top action star of the 80's if he was more pushy with his acting career.

No one seems to remember how slow the first one really was.  That was not an action packed flick.  It barely managed suspense.  It's all cartoonish character charm and low budget panache.  I'm surprised it got picked up as a series at all.

You kind of feel old when all they're doing now are rehashes, remakes and sequels to stuff you saw in the 80's and 90's and the stars get old.
