Commonwealth Games
« on: July 27, 2014, 07:26:46 PM »
Anyone watching this ? It's coming from my home city of Glasgow.
Good results for the home nations so far.

I was at Hampden stadium last month where the athletics is being held. Mo Farah's face was evrywhere but now he has decided not to compete. On the first day of the contest after all tickets were sold.

Apparently he is ill. Must be that crap Quorn mince he advertises. Total sellout of a guy.
He was taken in to England as a boy refugee from Africa, trained up with lottery funding and he thanks us after winning double Gold at the London Olympics by refusing to run for England and has become a tax exile living in USA and will sell his name to any crap product for the money.

I don't like him very much and more. >:(

I may be wrong but very few people become tax exiles in the USA.

He did an incredible thing at the Olympics but he didn't do it for GB, he did it for himself.  Just as they all do.  Therefore I give not one fuck about any of them over any athlete from any other country.

I've done a quick calculation and for every £1.0million you will pay an extra £110,000 tax in UK compared to USA.

Here is the irritating wee fanny's Quorn advert for our overseas visitors.

Who are the best British athletes in history?

I'm partial to Don Bradman, Lance Armstrong, and Andre Agassi.
