Dont get me wrong,.Zane was a great bodybuilder. But people get carried away with him .

"Perfection"  "Aesthetics personified"  ...not really.

I think you mean '78. Mentzer won the over-200-lb class in '79.

I SEE YOUR POINT..its hard to tell complete story by pic anyway..he revamped his own look anyway from late60's to mid 70's he had less conditioned look he displayed 77-83 ,,

One of the most impressive physiques shots of all time.  This eclipses anything done by the pork belly crowd of the last ten to twenty years.  The only vacuum pose Coleman, Cutler, Heath, et al could do would be to don an Aunt Jemima outfit and pose with an Electro Lux.
