If you read the article, you'll realize the reason this fish's name was changed was because Invasive Carp is more accurately descriptive of the species. Asian Carp sounds like something you'd stock your Koi pond with. It is fascinating how the media twists things, using the smallest detail. So some idiot in Congress said the name Asian Carp is offensive to some people. Asian is the currently politically correct term to describe some people of eastern heritage. If anything changing the name of the fish to Invasive Carp is insulting to Asians.
