Boehner Blasts Reid, Won’t Allow ‘Immigration Reform’ on Border Bill

Speaker John A. Boehner vowed the House would not allow the Senate to add any “comprehensive immigration reform bill or anything like it, including the DREAM Act” to the House’s $659 million border bill Tuesday.

“Senator Reid, embarrassed that he cannot strong-arm the Senate into passing the blank check President Obama demanded, is making a deceitful and cynical attempt to derail the House’s common-sense solution,” the Ohio Republican said in a statement aimed at Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., after Reid suggested he could add immigration to the border bill.

“So let me be as clear as I can be with Senator Reid: the House of Representatives will not take up the Senate immigration reform bill or accept it back from the Senate in any fashion,” he said. “Nor will we accept any attempt to add any other comprehensive immigration reform bill or anything like it, including the DREAM Act, to the House’s targeted legislation, which is meant to fix the actual problems causing the border crisis. Such measures have no place in the effort to solve this crisis, and any attempt to exploit this crisis by adding such measures will run into a brick wall in the People’s House.”

Boehner also slammed Obama.

“While the White House has abandoned all pretense of governing and the Senate is doing almost nothing to address our struggling economy, Republicans remain committed to addressing the American people’s priorities, and that includes passing a responsible bill this week to help secure our border and return these children safely to their home countries.”

They're not saying they're against it.  They're saying they won't let it appear ON THIS PARTICULAR BILL.

My assertion that Boehnner supports amnesty isn't my own - it actually comes from the tea party itself:

Boehnner's own words?  Illegals can stay if they pay a fine!

Bottom line?  Repubs want to win the senate and sign amnesty bill themselves, in order to win in 2016.

2017 AT THE EARLIEST.

Obama is FUCKED come this November.

House sustains Republican control and possibly adds a few extra hardcore rightys and The Senate goes to the Republicans with 51+ seats.

Obama's last State of the Union Address will be a sad, pathetic sight.

High 30's to low 40's approval rating. A Senate, House and country that loathes him and a good portion of Democrats campaigning against him.

I think the last 2 years will be obama golfing and issuing executive orders anytime he wishes.  Dems will abandon him, but that won't matter.   He got obamacare, he got his budgets, he won election twice, etc.

Of course, every time he does issue an executive order, we'll have to remember Republicans passing up on a chance to remove him from office.  Pres Biden would be a pussycat, trying not to offend anyone so he could run for a real term.  A wounded animal - unpopular obama lame duck - is a dangerous thing.

Coach, you asked me to show you where I predicted obama would do his damage in the last 2 years of executive orders.

Do you believe me now?   I have said it probably dozens of times.

As of late he's not issuing shit. He's doing as he pleases dispite anything. I seriously think he's mental and delusional. Again, post the thread link and not just the quote.

Anything obama does at this exact moment gives repubs donations when they're getting a lot of attention thanks to Trump, etc.

He gives them ANY ammo, and they move up on hilary.  He'll let his plant trump do his damage, THEN quietly do all the executive order BS he's been saving for when it'll have the least impact.

Rush limbaugh said obama already ordered 26 million green cards to be printed, I believe? I started a thread on it.  you don't do that unless you plan on letting them all in.
