a messageboard is just a virtual recreation of a bunch of colleagues or schoolmates you talk to daily. Everyone speaks their mind, people confront each others, thoughts evolve... to most it s a reassuring place where they can socialize and externalize their frustrations, especially the ones who have few or no real life contacts with other humans.

With the advent of technology, its easy for it to appear that we all spend our free time on GB. Id say almost every single person on GB has a cell phone with internet, if not, they have a tablet. You can literally post anywhere. Waiting in line, waiting for the bus or train, waiting at a doctors appointment.

I think some research shows that we spend A LOT of our lives just "waiting." While you wait, just post on GB :-)

They are often the ones that, in order to get respect from other males will go the steroids route to get even "bigger" attemptint to cure their insecurity , but being natural not being "enough", they still feel "too small", insecure, amongst other males. The lack of a father figure also often means they didnt have guidance to continue studies and are often working shitty manual jobs.

I've been member of other bb's, mma & porn forums.. but the polarization between crazy & intelligent, sane & insane among its members is what I love about this board.
I haven't found another forum that has this kind of freedom of speech in terms of literal and visual content while still maintaining "a clean board."
