Ted Cruz still the only one in congress with any guts

Ted cruz and jeff sessions were absolutely right to insist any bill concerning 'the border issue' needed to end DACA. All the other crap these spineless idiots were trying to pass just so they could say they 'did something' would have solved nothing. Everyone in congress wants to just beat around the bush and pass some half assed measure so they can save face in the media.

As usual, the whole world is making ted cruz the scapegoat for 'obstructing the bill'. No one seems to mention he is the only one actually trying to address the actual issue, and is the one actually representing what the majority of america wants, which is an end to the Amnesty campaign.

There is no one else in congress willing to repeatedly stand up and do the right thing in the face of unrelenting hate and smears from not only the democrats and the media, but from his own party as well, and that is extremely admirable and commendable. People can see this and its really setting him apart.

Also, I'd keep him away from crossfit and throwing tires, that nonsense - one pulled back muscle and he limps in front of the camera and all we hear will be "is cruz strong enough to naked wrestle putin" from palin and friends.

It's undeniable that FOX, Rush, etc are selling the RINO agenda.  undeniable.  Amenty and no-impeach were carefully coordinated efforts from reince priebus to boehnner, to congressional leadership, to hannity and rush and krauthammer.

This isn't even debatable.  It happened.

The thing is- the BASE voters disagree with those 2 issues in a big way.  now, the emotional, erratic, inconsistent repubs will fall for the weekly party directive, hook line and sinker.  We see that on getbig.  Dudes parroting what Newt told them lol.  But the TRUE BASE of the party - they are not falling for that.  They voted Cantor out.  They'll vote for Cruz and ignore the amnesty-loving, impeachment-hating idiots that just repeat what Boehnner says.

The question is... are there enough of them?   If politically "astute" getbiggers like Coach and 333386 will dutifully just repeat "yeah, i'm okay with amnesty now (coach)" or "impeachment is a lib idea, let's keep obama in office (333386)".... If these two obama hating right wing voters will just swallow the RINO directive (without even realizing it was a RINO directive) - will they be strong enough to stand together for a Cruz, who REALLY WILL be willing to change things?

Or will Newt and hannity tell them Christie or Rubio or whatever RINO, is the best bet... and they'll vote based on color of suit or who had the best one-liner at the debate?   I mean, at one point, CAIN was leading lol, without knowing anything past 9-9-9 and having more side dishes than Golden Corral.

I dont watch Fox news so i cant comment on that, but i do watch Fox Business channel and they DEFINITELY arent pushing the RINO viewpoint there. Lou Dobbs and Cavuto have been going nuts over the immigration/amnesty thing lately.

Fox business channel has much better hosts and analysts. They talk with logic and reason and dont automatically take sides, it is a much more intelligent debate. I cant stand Oreilly, Hannity or Kelly...they are as arrogant and smug as it gets plus Hannity has one of the most punchable faces of all time
