I disagree, most of the guys you mentioned have brought subtle changes, look in some way different. Dexter has been identical for a decade.

every year people post ill lit, random ass photos from completely different perspectives / points in the season and start hyping up the incredible "changes" in one of these athletes.

then we get the olympia stage pics, and they're nigh indistinguishable from the previous year 90% of the time, +- 5% the other 10% of the time

 

the difference between guys like dexter and phil is that they are ALWAYS 100%, whereas kai, wolf, etc. might be off a little one year, on the next -- nothing major

I attended one of his seminars back when he was Mr. Olympia (was covering it for a publication review) and, as with most of these events, he was horribly unprepared, with little to offer of value for anyone outside of a desire to see him in person/meet him. And I had no desire, so ...
