i came here in 2003 or 2004.  It's about the same now.... but not quite.  No major changes, just more mature, more decade-old inside jokes and references.  more regulation.  it'll probably be smaller then... back then, there were only 3-4 actual bodybuilding forums.  Now there are thousands of them, and pros are sometimes banned from posting on others, etc.  

Getbig 2005-2007 was some of the coolest internet time we'll ever know.

The jury was still out on whether or not Arnold was juicing. Daddywaddy was still fit. Debussey was still around. There was hope Arnold might make an actual comeback.

There was a bodybuilding boom at the time me thinks.

The internet introduced an entire globe of people to each other.

Before 2005, there was no facebook, no youtube, and the internet in general was more geeky teen oriented.

It was taken for granted that youd never know what your dads generation thought about beating off, or fucking sluts, because in the real world these intergenerational conversations couldn't happen.


The internet was for trafficking low quality poor, where you desperately searched for a pic of a girl with a shaved twat.

I was on Bolex, Meso and UG back in 1998-9. Fuck i helped shut down Meso LOL. It was pretty good then.
