The new Camaros and Mustangs are bleh (dime a dozen)

The new Corvettes are a thing of beauty. The Iconic symbol of American muscle.

This is my ride: 2012 Challenger RT

I don't think BMW can top the look of the E46 model cars.

I owned a 2000 3-series, and that look will stand the test of time.

Just look at the beauty:

I agree on e46 and e39 models of recent BMW's , very beautiful and timeless, classic bmw design at their best

How was the engine?  I know you're not a fan of Turbo's

Yes u are correct I am not a fan of turbo cars  :D

But for the direction bmw is going the m3/m4 is a very potent engine, obviously lots of torque down low and there really is no need to push the car pass 5500/6k rpm as all the power is already available before the 7+ rpm redline unlike the old NA type cars

Didn't feel any turbo lag, sounds ok but of course there's those speakers in the car (active sound?)

For what it is I actually like the motor, don't know how long term reliability will be but we shall see

Parker, last week I ordered a 2015 435i convertible with the M sport package. Car is pretty incredible. With the M sport package, electronic page with heads up display, 19" wheels, black on black and a few other options I was able to come in just under $64k. What is your opinion on the new 4 series?

You could have had the real thing optioned out for ten k more , why not go for the m4 if your paying that much? (Coupe not convertible)

Here's my opinion on the 4 series since I've gotten behind the wheel of an M4. Good car but bmw should have kept it a 3 series. Changed the name just to charge more

If it was my money I would go for the 4 door M3

I was only going to spend $50k tops when I started looking. I went 10 above that, I wasn't going another 10. Got to stop somewhere. Besides, I am real happy with what I ordered. I wanted a convertible that had a great ride to it and still had some power. It is a hard drop top.

435 is a very nice car, I'd think of getting a bare bones gran coupe to replace the z4 if it dies.

High 4's 0-60 and great handling, I just wouldn't option it out but I'm a cheapskate. M package,  hk stereo and fake leather and I'm happy :)

Wish they sold the 335i wagon here but Americans are retards when it cones to euro cars.

Try comparing apples to apples. Your M3 coupe above base is $62k the 435i coupe base is $45,800.

Your right Einstein. I got a convertible, hard drop top, add 10k for that. I got the technology package with GPS and heads up display. I also wanted a 2 door. You were comparing a coupe to a hard drop top convertible. This is why they make more than 1 model because everyone has different tastes. I think the M3 is not very appealing in looks. IMO the 435i as I have built it looks a hell of a lot better and still runs good. Not like I have anywhere around me where I can run 200mph.

True looks are subjective  but funny with this generation most of the enthusiasts are jumping for the m3 instead of the m4, body on the m3 is looks more aggressive, rear fenders look mean compared to the big bubble rear end of the 4

4 series should have stayed a 3!

Fucking bmw copying the Audi a5 designation and charging more

Looks good, although i don't like the front that much... My M3 E46 is still the top in terms of driving, aesthetic and engine, (CSL even better) but i haven't tried one of these new models still...

That's cheap....

The 420d Convertible M Sport will cost you $140k

You guys in the US are completely spoilt...

I like the X6 - that pic doesn't do them justice.

The X3 is a ugly but the X1 looks OK with the recent revamp giving it more of a bubble butt.

I think the 3 and 5 series are both decent looking cars too - but from the back, I think the 5 is one of the nicest...

The next gen, FWD X1 (aimed at retired rich old folks) is everything wrong about todays BMW but the current 35i X1 is a great little car. Hydraulic steering and the cheapest way to get an N55 without a load of fluff.

I'm getting the missus a M-Package 35i for a hair over 40k which is an ok deal for a 4 year warranty imo.

I do wish they would have given it the new F30 gen facelift they gave the other models, but whatever.

gym**rat did you think about ther 235i M package? Same power, lighter and funner to drive if you're after basically a roadster

Why would you ever wanna drive an M3 when you could drive a 6 ????

Makes no sense, the 3's for 20 year old gangsta wannabe's listening to Jay Z  for fucks sake.

Zero class, Meh  ::)
