Most pros lift & eat in a similar manner.  It's the pros who do things differently that are most interesting.  I found Vince Taylor & Phil Hernon to be most informative in that regard

Actually Kai was the one I've learned from that weight is not important and the mind muscle connection is the single most-important factor when it comes to building muscle.

I bet my joints will be thankful for that lesson in a few decades.
