what a disappointment....
first they charged me $100 bucks extra for walking in and not registering online so it cost me $900 for 3 day seminar(25hrs)
ok what the hell... I'm willing to learn and it should be worth it right?
the whole seminar was based on the 5 basic BB exercises(squat deads standing press cleans and bench press) and physics and geometry and later went on to program design based on texas method(5 x 5)
my overall impression with the whole thing was basically over-complicate what's supposed to be so simple and charge an arms and legs for it, nothing ground breaking here. at the end of seminar they offered me to register for their coaching position and I declined.
my suggestion, save your money.... and follow the program if you wanna become a bottom heavy perma bulker with small arm. being in the industry as long as I was, anyone whom suggests that ''this is the only way to squat'' is just a close minds self righteous bastard who dosnt know what he/she is talking about. >:(

jeez.. you paid $900 for stuff that is freely available on YouTube? Did you at least get a free white towel session? or a grapefruit taste test?

how many people were there and paid for this thing?

Just being in the same room with "Rip" will give you a PR in the bench. Worth the 9 bills.

So you paid a fat old man who lifted less in equipment than a regular gym-rat like me has raw, to tell you how to squat like a retard, bench like a retard, deadlift like a retard and get fat?

sound investment.

Lets stop the bullshit right now.

Even I know how to perform the 5 core exercises outlined in this program.

$900 bucks? Darwinism.

looking at your avi it looks like you need to attend one, every male in the seminar had your build. apparently i was too advanced for it but you'll get your $900 worth from it.

Hey, you were trying to expand your knowledge, nothing wrong with that.

It turned into a beating yet it seems like you did LEARN something- don't over complicate.

who is and what training regime has this behemont?

believe it or not, those are after pictures. i was dead set positive those were before shots, but nope. kid gained 50-ish pounds, maybe 20 of it being good weight.

rippetoe is a guy who is really good at making terrible advice sound logical and reasonable. his program basically amounts to ass-simple compound lifting and eating way more than you should. absolutely no one on the planet would be unable to get stronger doing that.
