What's the difference?
Training = Organized, logging progressions, setting weekly goals for progression, exercises are in a specific order, etc
Workout = Walking in to the gym and doing what ever comes to mind, randomness, you have a goal but really don't know how to approach it. ex: Walk into the on a chest day and make it up as you go along. No specific rep or set scheme and just go by feel.
Crossfit would be considered a "workout".
