Reports say he dealt with his depression with exercise. Biking was a passion for him. So the Parkinson's was a death blow for him.

Sad for his children but if he had had enough and didn't want to live the rest of his life in a deteriorating state who is anyone to judge?
Recently had to watch my nan go out due to dementia, a sorry state by the time she died. My dad said he'd like to end it before he got like that, reliant on others and a burden, i think he's right. My nan if she could have come out of herself would have felt the same.

Spoken like a person with no understanding of depression. You can't imagine how you feel at times. Yes drugs and alcohol don't help but they are symptomatic of dealing with it. When you make it through it you think what a retard you were thinking that way. While you're in that place it is all that makes sense.
