You could list 1000's of men that have been taken down by pussy.

Does Helen of Troy ring a bell?

Maybe the richest men are attention whores, and just want the media coverage (and the male sympathy) of a public divorce.

Women have always been sexual objects. It's up to the men to decide how the Legos stack.

Turns out he was in the early stages of Parkinsons. Look it up.

No shit. But look at his whole career/life. The dude was clearly struggling with himself.

I don't know if it was the coke or the anxiety, that caused Robin to be "Robin" in regular interviews.

He was a talent for sure. An honorary Getbigger.  If his family is left money, then Robin did his job.

No more pain.

This is f'n sad. Dude was a super nice guy, which trumps everything for me. His poor daughter, nothing but sympathy all around. RIP.

If you have the balls to hang yourself, then maybe we shouldn't question him.

suicide is the cowards way out. sorry to say it but it's the truth especially if you have family. very selfish move. I am waiting for the toxicology reports. Robin Williams was not having money issues. Look at Mike Tyson he supposively had serious money issues but that's due to the lifestyle he choose to live. Tyson still had mad shit and a fat house. Robin williams was not having a hard financial battle! he has been steady working and had projects going on plus like I said those guys are never broke. broke to robin williams is still having millions.

Even though he payed 30 million to a ex-wife that's like 1 movie role. Robin Williams is a very high paid actor.

This question isn't specific to Robin. If someone has a debilitating disease and makes a choice to end it before they lose their faculties and dignity, forcing their family to see them fall apart inside or out, would you class them as a coward?

Just curious

with the Parkinsons diagnosis, this makes sense. he went on his own terms before becoming disabled. good for him I say.

I agree with OP. The excuses for Williams' cowardly behavior reflect the current cultural norms of victimization and surrender. He betrayed his children and left them with an indelible, horrific moment.
