OptionD looks like he's slimmed down a bit.

Fine bunch of level headed, common-sense thinking Americans who would make an excellent job candidate for anyone looking to hire.

LA police shoot and kill man in Hollywood tourist area

Source: Guardian Newspaper

Fresh protests were expected in Los Angeles after police shot a man on the tourist-packed Hollywood Walk of Fame, adding another killing to a recent and climbing toll.

Police officers attended one of the most crowded intersections in the city on Friday night, after reports of a man with a knife on Hollywood Boulevard. A man was subsequently shot dead. Some bystanders captured video and pictures of what appeared to be a white man slumped in the road, surrounded by a group of officers with pistols drawn.

The weapon the man was reported to have been brandishing appeared to have been a small Swiss Army-style pocket knife, according to pictures posted by police on social media that showed a numbered crime scene label next to the object.

after he refused to put down his weapon, the police said.

“The man was armed with a knife,” said Meghan Aguilar, a detective with the Los Angeles Police Department. “When he saw the officers, he approached them, and an officer-involved shooting occurred.”

Seriously, the police are out of control - give me just one good reason why a man can't wave a knife around on Hollywood boulevard? He din hurt noone.

And if the knife was bothering them so much why didn't they shoot it out of his hand?

Retardedness aside, it turns out our Bosnian home contractor is the cousin of the kid hammered to death by gentle giants in last weeks totally non racial attack that was in no way downplayed by the police and the media. Crazy.

IMO, you use taser, rubber bullets, beanbag IF you have the time to surround someone crazy holding a pitiful weapon for attention.   With all that time, you prep the non-leathal.

NOW, if it's just one cop and he has a knife, you shoot him center mass til he's on his back, period.  No shooting out of hand, etc.  You drop the dude, he earned it.

But if you have time to get ten cops (or however many) into position, and it's a doggone swiss army knife, you tase him, bro.

The dude named UNCLE MURDA, who just released an album called "Respect The Shooter", and who has publicly been involved in shootings.... is now pretending he cares about gun violence? This dumb, hypocritical retard is just another in a long line of people who do the same shit all day, but then when it happens to one of their own, all of a sudden its so different. Just another bad rapper trying to capitalize and make money off someone's death. Oh by the way you fucking moron, if its an Eric Garner tribute, shoudn't the name of the song be I Cant Breathe"? Albuquerque Cop Shoots First, Asks Questions Later. Turns Out the Person He Shot Was a Cop

Even cops may not be safe from other cops. This was the second friendly fire incident.

http://thefreethoughtproject.com/undercover-albuquerque-police-officer-shot-fellow-cop/

Albuquerque, NM– Albuquerque Police Department’s five months without a shooting has come to an end as an Albuquerque police officer remains in critical condition after being shot by a fellow officer on Friday.

The unnamed officer was shot while undercover during a drug operation to bust two men for $60 worth of meth. Another officer sustained minor injuries, but information on how has not been released.
===

This trigger happy officer, who opened fire and shot someone who posed no danger to them, multiple times, is “devastated” according to Police Chief Gorden Eden. The lieutenant is currently on administrative leave and “getting support” through the department’s counseling services.

Police even went so far as to confiscate a witness’s cell phone after he had recorded some of the incident.

While brutality is clearly a nationwide issue, the APD has claimed some major notoriety for their badge abuse. Since 2010, the department has had 41 officer involved shootings, 27 of which were fatal.

Despite Eric Holder's efforts to get Darren Wilson federally prosecuted, no charges will be filed.

Quote
e U.S. Justice Department is about to close the investigation into the shooting death of an unarmed black teenager in Ferguson, Missouri, and clear the white police officer involved of any civil rights charges, The New York Times reported on Wednesday.

The newspaper quoted law enforcement officials as saying that federal prosecutors had begun work on a legal memo recommending no civil rights charges against the officer, Darren Wilson, after an FBI investigation found no evidence to support charges against him
