People have a hard time accepting the fact Phil Heath probably surpassed Ronnie coleman 2 years ago.

Ronnie was good in his prime, but phil has a level of thickness and overall imposing nature that ronnie never captured.

Phil enters a room and people FEEL it - he's the champ.  Ronnie was humble and confident and all that, but Phil is just so much more of a personality and media star.  Above all, people LIKE phil.  He's likeable and personable.

Outside of Kai and Heath, I think it will be boring. Rhoden's back isn't on par with the top two. Wolf's calves absolutely suck and he has no lower back. Ramy is huge but lacks separation and Olympia level conditioning.

It has nothing to do with size.It has to do with the way they're put together and the conditioning they're able to achieve. Phil will never be able to get shredded like Ronnie that year because of slin. Ronnie wasn't able to get into that condition anymore when he started using slin.

Highly doubt Phil is 5'9 or 5'10. I've seen both guys a few times. Jay is 5'7 IMO. Phil is about the same. Dude probably wears elevator shoes off-stage.

Phil is taller, and Jay has been listed as 5'8 forever.
That first pic you can clearly see Phil is taller by looking at the shoulder line. Jay has his head tilted up and that faux hawk's tips give him the appearance of being taller.
The second pic, Phil leans back and puts one leg far more fwd in the BDB pose, so he loses height

Phil is not maxed out. People have been saying that since 2007. He can improve his chest.
And he did say a long time ago that he wanted to see how big his arms could get...but that ain't a priority right now.
