Didn't he die a couple years ago???
Que?
He was something of a comedic staple on an early seventies sitcom called "Welcome Back Kotter" (?). After that show ended his acting career went somewhat south. It happens. Typecast comes to mind.
Thank you for clearing this up. What kind of jokes did he pull, family safe or Getbig jokes?
Being the early seventies it was pretty much family safe with perhaps the occasional double entendre one sees even in early Warner Bros. cartoons and films of the same time (40s -50s). Nothing like the fare that is put on today's television. I no longer watch TV but the rest of my family does. It's not that all TV is bad but that I just prefer music and movies to "reality" shows.
Wow...first Robin Williams and now...some other guy...I think its a sign!
I feel the same about television ("57 channels, and nothin' on"), so I donated my TV to my mom in '94, but double damn, years later some mad scientists introduced internet to the masses, including yours truly
Yup. We are well and truly screwed, my friend. I have a decent collection of film on VHS, SVHS, Laser Disc, DVD and Blu Ray along with roughly 10,000 songs on my iTunes and 300 Disc changer. Then there's my current addiction (along with this place!) : Internet Radio... I am doooooomed!
