Secondly, how is he getting screwed? In the interim between fighting Jones the only person Alexander has beaten is Jimi Manuwa. Not exactly a victory over a world beater. If Gustafsson is truly worthy of being the 205 king then he should be able to beat *anyone*, so the fight with rumble should be a formality to him.

as far as GUSTAF'S SON truly being worthy,cmon man,u know at any givin time a fighter that really aint a top ten fighter can take out a #1 contender or even the champ with one punch and throw a monkey wrench into the whole mix(serra-st peirre) is an example of a really decent fighter n tough dude going against the world champion in george,difference is GSP knew hed get immediate rematch after he lost,thats in his contract. alexander doesnt have that luxory,he losses he might have to wait another 14 or moremonths to get a crack at the new champ CORMIER
,i understand his concern and think about this,jones has an instant rematch in his contract if/when he loses the title,so when cormier whips his ass in january jones is gonna ask for a rematch,thats a no brainer. now everyones gonna have to wait another 6 months if we r lucky,if theres an injury n the fighters suspended by the NVSC n one of them gets jammed up for 5 months then needs another 3 months to train again,another few months and theres a year blown. theres huge money on stake and huge ego,s on stake also
