Grown adults will watch the most childish shit, all on the premise its authentic.


Doesn't matter, it being true to the source material makes it moot.


What's important is that it's authentic.

for you younger folks, howard the duck is a marvel comic book character that they made a movie about in the late 80's and it SUCKED.

Interesting is that the "Howard the Duck" film was produced by Lucasfilm based on a Marvel comic book.  Disney now owns both Lucasfilm and Marvel Entertainment.

No...the movie didn't suck, it was just not the right time to do it.  It was Marvel's first movie since 1944 and a lot of stuff they were doing such as computer animation was barely perfected.

Much like the movie UHF and Hamburger the Motion Picture....it was misunderstood which is why its a cult classic
