You have to remember the technical term for anything that automatically chambers a round after firing is "automatic".

CNN is a fiction channel.   They're an entertainment channel.  They interpret current events with their own spin, demonstrations and wackiness.

Just like MSNBC.  and yes, just like FOX.  Or BET.  Or MTV.

Nobody screams when BET plays jay-Z but won't play the new Nas joint.  it's their channel, they're appealing to their base viewership demands, and that's that. 

Same with the news.  A few people cling to relics of Edward R Murrow and the heroic journalist with pure integrity, but if that ever really existed, it's gone now.  The news channels are entertainment channels.  These kinds of distortions on the truth make their viewer tune in, like, share, and create ad revenue.  So they keep it up.
